Get To Know The Realtor: Tatiana Delaserna, San Antonio’s Newcomer of The Year

In 2017, Tatiana joined the boutique brokerage of Kimberly Howell Properties. In 2018, she completed over $9 million in sales. And in 2019, she was recognized as the 2019 Newcomer of the year by the Platinum Top 50 Realtor Awards of San Antonio. It’s already clear that Tatiana is extremely passionate about real estate and providing five-star service, so we asked her 10 fun questions about her background, interests, and passions to get to know the woman behind all of the hard work.

Q: Where did you grow up?

A: I was born in São Paulo, Brazil and lived there until I was a teenager, then I moved to Orlando, FL. I will never forget the sense of awe when I walked around my neighborhood in Florida and saw house after house with vast yards and no fences between each other and the streets. It was such a stark contrast from Brazil.

Q: What was your favorite part of working at Walt Disney World?

A: Besides the free tickets?! Our culture of taking care of our guests, being empowered to make decisions to enhance our guest experience and immediately provide guest recovery.

Q: What did you learn from being in the U.S. Air Force?

A: To think outside of how things benefit you and how it affects everyone else. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are from or what you have – we all wore the same uniform. What mattered was how well you got your job done. Lack of integrity, competency and attention to detail cause real harm.

Q: What are your passions?

A: Providing a job well done and completing all the steps to be able to do so. Simply wanting is not enough. The pursuit of knowledge, integrity, curiosity and showing up are some of the pieces of the puzzle. And corgis.

Q: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: I am on a constant quest to find the best mac and cheese! I’ve been having a hard time beating Martha Stewart’s Perfect Macaroni and Cheese recipe. Send me your best recipes!

Q: Where is the best place you’ve ever traveled to?

A: A few years back, my husband and I took two weeks off and drove from Texas to California and back. We spent a few days in Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Sedona. But it wasn’t one place or the other, it was the time away with Adrian. As cliche as it sounds, it’s not the destination, it’s ALWAYS the journey.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do in San Antonio?

A: Discover new places to eat. We have come so far from 10 years ago. San Antonio is embracing its history and culture, while welcoming others. This is translating into a fantastic mix of cuisines, individually owned restaurants and experiences.

Q: If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

A: I would spend more time with my daughter. Turn my phone off and just play Skyrim with her in the middle of the night, under a blanket, eating popcorn and laughing.

Q: What is your favorite quote?

A: So many! I am drawn to one by Douglas Adams. “To give real service, you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.”

Q: Where do you see Cornice & Cobble Realty Group in five years?

A: I want us to be a hand-picked group of professionals who will continue to elevate the profession of real estate representation. I want the name to represent the better side of real estate.
